expectations for class

In a half semester, I want to get out of Julie's class feeling confident that if I come across a real-life engine failure, I am competent enough to deal with the emergency and walk away with only a few scratches. That means I will have a strong knowledge of systems and procedures after taking Julie's multi-engine class.

I don't expect a real engine failure anytime in my near future, but I expect to be prepare when, heaven forbid, that time comes. Systems is one of my weak subjects among many others, so I want to be more proficient at it. By the end of the class, I would like to (not expect) draw schematics of systems by memory and explain the different parts better than my other 6 classmates. It will be a challenge considering all the brilliant students in class.

I don't use any of the latest social networking tools so blogging is new to me. It never occurred to me that I will be blogging on the web now that its obligated for class, but certainly open to it. I expect I will be reading some very interesting, humorous, and most insightful blogs.

  1. I really hope I can help you get the knowledge level you are looking for in systems. As I talked about in class in most interviews they ask you about the systems of the most complicated aircraft you fly. Ask lots of questions so we can increase your knowledge!
